Kate Fairhurst is a senior policy and public affairs professional, with 12 years’ experience of working in Westminster, regional and local government.
Kate spent three years as an Account Director at a fast-growing consultancy, before founding her own business in December 2024. Prior to that, she headed up a political office at the Greater London Authority and also held policy roles at the Law Society of England and Wales and in Parliament.
Over the course of her career, Kate has led impactful advocacy strategies for a wide range of public and private sector organisations, leading to tangible legislative and policy change. This has included a world-leading HE creative institution, a tech unicorn, an international skills provider, a global research charity and a leading SME housebuilder.
As well as in-depth Westminster and Whitehall knowledge and networks, she has specific expertise in English regional and local government. She also serves as an elected local councillor herself, including on her Planning Committee.
